To provide a semirigid polylactic acid resin film having a moderate flexibility and excellent impact resistance and provide a method for producing the film.

The film is produced by compounding 100 pts. wt. of a polylactic acid resin composed of 50-100 wt.% low-crystalline or non-crystalline polylactic acid having a D-isomer content of 7-20% and 0-50 wt.% highly crystalline polylactic acid having a D-isomer content of 0-6% with ≥9 pts. wt. and <15 pts. wt. of a plasticizer and forming and heat-treating the obtained mixture. The film has a crystallization heat of ≤2 J/g and a melting heat of 3-20 J/g. The invention further provides a method for the production of the film.
