Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and low-cost expansion/contraction sensing device for the crawler belt of a running body equipped with the crawler belt in a manner freely expanding and contracting. SOLUTION: Movably vertically, a rod 21 is installed in the rotational center of a hydraulic rotary joint 20 furnished on a revolving device 42, and from a side frame 3 a cam member 30 having three steps is protruded toward the rotary joint 20, and the bottom of the rod 21 is contacted with the cam member 30. The rod 21 moves in the vertical direction in compliance with the expansion and contraction of a crawler belt 6, and the condition of vertical movement is sensed by sensors 25 and 26. The expanded/contracted condition of the crawler belt 6 is judged on the basis of the given signal.
