Title:
SENSOR CELL AND MEASURING DEVICE FOR USE IN SPECIFIC DETECTION OF SUBSTANCE TO BE DETECTED USING PHOTOELECTRIC CURRENT GENERATED BY PHOTOEXCITATION OF SENSITIZING DYE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2008304488
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a sensor cell of high measuring accuracy for use in specific detection of substance to be detected using a photoelectric current generated by photoexcitation of a sensitizing dye.

This sensor cell includes: a working electrode; a counter electrode provided facing the working electrode; a cell base material combined with the working electrode and counter electrode to form a passage; and a supply port and a discharge port communicating with the passage. The working electrode is provided with a conductive base material and an electron accepting layer provided thereon and including an electron accepting substance capable of accepting electrons emitted by the sensitizing dye in response to photoexcitation. The electron accepting layer and the counter electrode are exposed to the passage.
