A sensor has a fixed electrode part 110 being one electrode part between two electrode parts forming a capacitor, a beam-like variable electrode part 120 being the other electrode part between the two electrode parts and facing the fixed electrode part 110. The variable electrode part 120 and the fixed electrode part 110 are insulated at a support part of a beam formed by at least the variable electrode part 120. Further, a distance between the electrodes of the variable electrode part 120 and the fixed electrode part 110 is changed by adding force to the variable electrode part 120, and a physical amount is detected on the basis of a capacitance value determined by the distance between the electrodes.
