To constitute a separation preventing pipe joint through a simple process.
The separation preventing pipe joint is adapted to insert, into a faucet 12 formed at an end of one pipe 11 of pipes to be mutually connected, an insert port 14 formed at an end of the other pipe 13. A circumferentially single-split lock ring 20 is stored in a storage part 17 formed on the inner circumference of the faucet 12. An annular groove 29 fitting the lock ring 20 is formed on the outer circumference of the insert port 14. The annular groove 29 includes a pipe diameter-directional side surface 30 formed oppositely to a top end surface 27 of the insert port 14, and an inclined surface 31 formed continuously to a groove bottom-side position of the side surface 30 so that the diameter is gradually increased with distance from the tip of the insert port.
