Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator joint method for an electric device with which a separator for pinching an electrode can be sufficiently joined even when the separator has a heat-resistant material which is difficult to be joined.SOLUTION: A separator joint method for an electric device (bagged electrode) is a method of joining a separator for pinching an electrode (a positive electrode 20 or a negative electrode) by using a separator (ceramic separator) containing a sheet-shaped fusion material (polypropylene layer) and a heat-resistant material (ceramic layer) which is laminated on the fusion material and has a higher melting temperature than the fusion material. The separator joint method has a processing step and a joining step. The processing step folds up one of the confronting end portions of the separator through the electrode. The joining step joins the fusion material and the heat-resistant material of the confronting end portions.
