Abstract:
To provide a capacitor separator which is low in moisture content, has micropores that are each 1 μm or below in diameter, very reliable, and suitable as a separator for an electric double-layer capacitor.
The capacitor separator is an inorganic substance-containing porous separator which is composed of polyolefin resin and inorganic powder, has micropores that are 1 μm or below in average diameter, and formed through a method of mercury penetration, and the inorganic powder has a moisture content of 5 mass% or below.
