Abstract:
PURPOSE:To interrupt the run of a program and to perform easy correction when an error occurs by adding a temporary stop instruction mode to a mode switch of a program console of a sequencer. CONSTITUTION:A temporary stop instruction mode 6a is provided to a mode changeover switch 6 of a program console which forms a sequencer together with a base unit containing an input/output relay, an auxiliary relay, a contact, etc. Then the mode 6a is selected by the switch 6 in case such an error is detected that a sequence circuit does not work as prescribed in a sequence execution mode. Thus a running program is interrupted and held as it is. Under such conditions, the switch 6 is changed over to a program mode 6c for writing with input of a new instruction. Thus the wrong instruction is cleared and the new instruction is stored in a memory. In such a way, the running program is interrupted and the error can be easily corrected.
