To provide a direct access control server capable of registering easily a control device and a controlled device, in a network system capable of controlling the domestic controlled device through a network.
The direct access control server receives a control device/service control ID acquisition request transmitted by a service server based on a request from the control device, and generates a control device/service control ID for a combination of the control device and a service to be stored in the storage part and to be transmitted to the service server. When receiving a password acquisition request from the service server, a password for registering the equipment to be controlled is generated to respond to the control device through the service server. The direct access control server authenticates the controlled device, and generates an equipment authentication continuation ID to be notified to the controlled device.
