To provide a heat developing device that efficiently eliminates a residual organic solvent or the like from a gas generating from a heat-developing photosensitive film after the film is heat-developed in a heat-developing unit and deodorizing the gas while preventing the gas from leaking to the outside.

The heat developing device includes a heat developing unit 130 to heat and develop a film F having a latent image and a post-process unit 400 to convey the heat developed film along a conveyance passage 150A to a discharge port 401, wherein a gas generating from the heat developed film in the post-process unit is guided along an inclined face 400a of a housing 500 that houses the heat developing unit and the post-process unit to a duct 202 and introduced into a deodorization filter 204.
