Abstract:

A server selection device (11) is provided in a server (1) which performs communications with a motor vehicle (20), and a server determination unit (117) is provided in the server selection device (11) that selects a server (1) from the information of surroundings, and promotes a motor vehicle (20) to connect to the server (1). The server determination unit (117) selects, from among a plurality of such servers (1) capable of connecting the motor vehicle (20), one server (1) by which its connection time can be longer in its connection than that by another server (1), based on a running route of the motor vehicle (20) and coverage area information of the server (1), so that server information on a server (1) to be connected next is transmitted to the motor vehicle (20).
