Abstract:

To provide a servo control device that corrects a position on the basis of a stretch or contraction quantity of a ball screw.

A servo control device in accordance with the present invention corrects a position command for a feed shaft so as to compensate for a stretch or contraction quantity of a ball screw during operation, in consideration of an adverse effect of a tension to be applied to the ball screw. The servo control device calculates the stretch or contraction quantity of the ball screw on the basis of the tension that acts on a distal side of the ball screw relative to a servo motor, a distance between a pair of stationary parts that support the ball screw at the ends of the ball screw, a distance from the stationary part, which is located on a proximal side relative to the servo motor, to a moving entity, and a torque command to be applied to the servo motor. The servo control device calculates a position correction quantity for the feed shaft on the basis of the calculated stretch or contraction quantity of the ball screw.
