PURPOSE: To easily modify initial set-up data and add other data to the set-up data by automatically making the set-up data required for the preparation before the machining by means of an NC machine tool, integrating the data in the machining program and displaying the data on a CRT.

CONSTITUTION: After making an NC program based on the drawing using an interactive automatic programming function, set-up data are extracted from this machining program, being added to the end of the machining program in the form of a note. In setting-up, the machining program is automatically analyzed by a set-up data analyzing circuit being displayed on a CRT. When other data are added to the set-up data or the set-up data are modified on the CRT, the above note is rewritten when operation is completed.
