Abstract:

To suppress settlement of a buried object buried in the ground.

In a structure for suppressing settlement of a buried object 2 buried in the ground, a foam resin block body 1 having an engaging groove 14 in the undersurface thereof is installed on the upper side of the buried object 2. The engaging groove 14 of the block body 1 is fitted into the buried object 2, and thereby the buried object 2 is held by the block body 1 in a state of being hung in the ground, and settlement of the buried object 2 is suppressed. A pavement layer 3 is formed on the ground, and the region between the pavement layer 3 and the buried object 2 is filled with the block body 1.
