To provide an air bleeding method by which air incorporated in a glue dispenser 1 is easily removed and an air bleeding judgement method for the glue dispenser 1 for judging whether air is accurately removed or not.
An apparatus for applying glue which has the glue dispenser 1 is provided with a setup unit 2 composed of a plate 22, a closing cover 23 and a vessel 24 for waste. The air bleeding method is composed of a process for stopping the discharge action for the glue once after the glue is filled up to a discharge port 4a and replacing the glue in a bubble retained part 10, a process for increasing the pressure of the glue in the bubble retained part 10, and a process for replacing the glue. The air bleeding judgement method is composed of a process for continuously carrying out the coating action for the glue, a process for carrying out 2 shots of coating action after the coating action of the glue is stopped and comparing the coating area of the glue between 2 shots.
