Abstract:
To provide a sewing method for particularly sewing up a tiptoe part of socks or an axial end part of a general cylindrical product for restraining manufacturing cost by simplifying a device required for sewing-up.
A product 1 is advanced to a sewing head in forming a first seam along a guide passage formed of two adjacent thin plates 12a and 12b opposed to the sewing head 14, and is retreated up to the upstream side of the sewing head 14 after forming the first seam, and is moved in the opposed two directions so that the product is advanced again in forming a second seam, and is sewn up by a sewing-up line of two rows by using the same sewing head 14.
