Title:
SHADE FOR LUMINARIE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08161916
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce manufacturing costs at the time of manufacture, to enlarge the irradiation range of a lamp and at the same time improve the external appearance of a shade itself.

CONSTITUTION: A side plate 6 constituting a shade is made of a hard resin of polyurethane or the like, and the irregularities of the grain of wood or the like are integratedly molded in the surface thereof to make a colored decorative laminated sheet and at the same time a taper-like light transmission hole 9 of opening outwardly with respect to the side plate 6 is perforated. A metal cover film layer 11 or the like is disposed in the inner wall surface 10 of the light transmission hole 9, thereby being able to prevent a damage such as a crack at the time of manufacture and at the same time the light of a lamp 8 is diffused without being shaded by the inner wall surface of the light transmission hole, thereby enlarging an irradiation range. Further, the external appearance of the shade can be improved by irregular reflection with the inner wall surface of the light transmission hole 9 at the time of lighting a lamp.
