Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft alignment device suitable for well drilling, etc., by enabling the direction of a shaft free end to be controlled from a first end even in a small space.
SOLUTION: This shaft alignment device includes a first shaft support means having a first longitudinal shaft 18, a second shaft support means having a second longitudinal shaft 22, and a coupling bearing means having a bearing rotating shaft 40 and coupling the first and second shaft support means together in such a way that they are freely rotatable. The bearing rotating shaft 40 forms a first non-zero angle to the longitudinal shaft 18 and a second non-zero angle to the longitudinal shaft 22, and the coupling bearing means 24, 26 are arranged with respect to the shaft support means in such a way that when the shaft support means rotate relative to each other about their respective longitudinal shafts 18, 22, the relative deviation angle between the longitudinal shafts 18, 22 is varied.
