PURPOSE: To provide a shaft end washer which can be fitted to a shaft in only one touch action.

CONSTITUTION: A shaft end washer 1 consists of a synthetic resin main body 2 having a washer plate 7 with a hole for passing a shaft end, a cylindrical support 8, and a pair of left and right slits 12, which are parallel to the washer plate 7 and reaches its inside hole, formed in the foot of the support 8, and a clip 3 whose base is held to the main body 2 and insertion part 18 on free end side is inserted into the slit 12, elastically energized inward, and formed by bending a metal wire in three-dimensional U-shaped form since the main body 2 and the clip 3 are elastically united, handling is easy. The clip 3 made of metal is engaged with the support 8 and a shaft 3 in four portions to increase slipping out prevention strength. Since the support 8 is fit to the shaft 4, right angle maintaining force is heightened.
