Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft fixing device for a pipe forming mill roll in which a pipe forming mill roll can be easily exchanged, wear and loosening of a roll fixing member is eliminated, workability and productivity is improved, and the number of parts is reduced to reduce the cost.
SOLUTION: An annular hydraulic chamber 23 is provided on an inner side of a bulged part 22 having a prescribed thickness along an outer circumferential surface at a roll fixing part 21a of a rotary shaft 21. A hydraulic nipple 24 to feed the hydraulic pressure and a hydraulic valve 25 to keep or release a hydraulic condition are provided on one end part of a rotary shaft, and a hydraulic hole 26 to communicate the hydraulic chamber 23, the hydraulic nipple 24 and the hydraulic valve 25 is provided. The hydraulic pressure is applied to the hydraulic chamber 23 from the hydraulic nipple 24 through the hydraulic hole 26, the bulged part 22 is bulged so as to be pressed against the inner circumferential surface of a pipe forming mill roll 5, and the pipe forming mill roll 5 is fixed to the rotary shaft 21.
