Abstract:
To provide a shaft sealing device and a turbomachine capable of minimizing the leakage of a working fluid between a rotary section and a stationary section over a period from a non-steady state such as starting to a steady operation state.
This shaft sealing device is provided with an abradable layer 3 arranged on one of surfaces of the stationary section and the rotary section which are coaxially positioned, and a plurality of seal fins 1a, 1b and 1c which are arranged on the other of the stationary section and the rotary section and opposed to the surface of the abradable layer 3 through at least two or more kinds of seal clearances ga, gb and gc.
