Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify structure, reduce costs and stabilize the seal property just after operation by applying an O-ring quickly.
SOLUTION: A shaft sealing device is provided with a fixed ring 17 in which a rotary shaft 8 applied a glass lining process is inserted turnably in the vessel in whose inside the glass lining process is applied and fixed to the vessel side, a rotary ring 20 rotating along with the rotary shaft 8 and an O-ring 21 externally fitted to the rotary shaft 8 so as to be interposed stickly between the rotary shaft 8 and the rotary ring 20. A seal part 35 push-pressed slidably to the fixed ring 17 is provided on the rotary ring 20 to seal up the space between the rotary shaft 8 side and the vessel 1 side. A ring shape storage 30 for storing the O-ring 21 is formed on the inner periphery of the rotary ring 20 and a ring shape groove 36 along the periphery direction of the rotary ring 20 is formed on the slide surface of the seal part 35 and the inner periphery 30a of the ring shape storage 30 is provided on the position of the outside of the diameter of the rotary ring 20 than the outer periphery 36a of the ring shape groove 36.
