Abstract:
To provide a device and a method which enable squareness of a flange of shape steel to be corrected, with simple configuration.SOLUTION: A correction device is provided, correcting a shape of shape steel which has a web and a pair of flanges, and in which the pair of flanges incline with respect to the web in such a manner that a distance between the flanges gradually increases as the flanges separate toward one side from the web in a thickness direction of the web. The correction device comprises three or more rollers which apply bending force to the web of the shape steel being conveyed with both sides of the web pointing to a vertical direction. The three or more rollers are arranged alternately on and under the web in such a manner that the rollers contact the web with an interval in a conveying direction of the shape steel. A diameter of the roller arranged at the one side of the web in the thickness direction, of the three or more rollers, is smaller than a diameter of the roller arranged at the other side of the web in the thickness direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
