Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shear torque nut which can easily regulate the tightening force with a simple structure, and reliably perform the locking.
SOLUTION: This shear torque nut comprises a torque nut 2 and a shear nut 3 with female screw parts 4 and 5 of the same size formed on the inner side in the radial direction, an inner groove part 6 of rectangular groove section with the width in the axial direction of ≥2 times the pitch of the female screw parts 4 and 5 and the inside diameter of not less than the diameter at the thread of the female screw parts 4 and 5, and the outer groove part 7 formed on the outer side in the radial direction of the torque nut 2 and the shear nut 3, and on the inner side in the axial direction of the inner groove part 6. A tapered part 8 which is gradually contracted toward the shear nut 3 disposed on the outer side in the axial direction is formed on a groove bottom side of the outer groove part 7, and a corner part 9 on the inner side in the axial direction of the inner groove part 6 is located on the extension of the tapered part 8.
