To provide shearing device to obtain a sheared member free from bending deformation from a bar and suppress the occurrence of a scratch.

The shearing device comprises a fixed blade body 12 to support a bar W; a stopper 15 to make contact of a tip Wa of the bar W protruding from the fixing blade body 12; a moving blade body 31 provided at a lower end with a shearing blade 32 and elevating along a side 12a on the side where the bar W of the fixed blade body 12 is protruded. The shearing device cuts the bar W, protruding from the fixed blade body, by the lowering moving blade body 31. The shearing device is provided with an upper holding member 35 elevated in linkage with the moving blade body 31 and making contact with the upper surface of the bar W and having a push contact part 35a formed at a lower end and making contact with the upper surface of the bar W, protruding from the fixed blade body 12, through lowering movement, and a lower holding member 25 lowered in linkage with the moving blade body 31 as the bar W protruding from the fixed blade body 12 is supported from below by the upper surface.
