Abstract:
To provide a sheet binding device reduced in time for binding sheet bundles and improved in productivity, without increasing a size of the sheet binding device, complicating the device configuration and increasing cost, regardless of the number of binding processing parts.SOLUTION: A finisher 600 has a stapler 301 successively intruding between an upper jaw part 301U and a lower jaw part 301L constituting a binding part and binding stacked sheet bundles, drawing-in means for drawing in the sheet intruding between the binding parts 301U, 301L, and matching means for matching. Descending of the upper jaw part 301U of the stapler 301 is started during a drawing-in operation of a final sheet of the sheet bundle, or during a matching operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
