Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a speed difference between the upstream side and the downstream side in sheet conveyance with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A sheet conveyance device comprises: a first conveyance member 50 which is driven by a first motor 53; a second conveyance member 60 which is arranged on the downstream side in a sheet conveyance direction S with respect to the first conveyance member 50 and driven by a second motor 63; a third conveyance member 70 which is arranged on the downstream side in the sheet conveyance direction S with respect to the second conveyance member 60 and driven by the second motor 63 together with the second conveyance member 60; and a torque limiter 64 which is interposed between both the second conveyance member 60 and the third conveyance member 70, and the second motor 63 and shuts down transmission of drive force at the time of overload. The second motor 63 makes the second conveyance member 60 and the third conveyance member 70 convey the sheets at a second conveyance speed faster than a first conveyance speed at which the first motor 53 makes the first conveyance member 50 convey the sheets, and the second conveyance member 60 is set to have a nip force stronger than that of the third conveyance member 70.
