Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress unnecessary rotation of a conveyance roller arranged in one conveyance path when a conveyance path in which sheets are conveyed is switched.SOLUTION: A sheet conveyance part 3 includes a first conveyance path SP1, a second conveyance path SP2, and a third conveyance path SP3. The second conveyance path SP2 and the third conveyance path SP3 are formed by the branching of the first conveyance path SP1, and a sheet S is selectively conveyed. A sheet guide 30 can change the posture between a first posture to carry in the sheet S to the second conveyance path SP2 and a second posture to carry in the sheet S to the third conveyance path SP3. A discharge roller 31 is arranged in the third conveyance path SP3 and is rotationally driven by a driving mechanism 6. A transmission mechanism 5 cuts off the transmission of the rotational driving force of the driving mechanism 6 to the discharge roller 31 in response to the first posture of the sheet guide 30, and transmits the rotational driving force to the discharge roller 31 in response to the second posture of the sheet guide 30.
