PURPOSE: To rightly position right and left sheets by providing a tray with a partition guide member for the right and left sheets and positioning stop members and inclining right and left sheet feed rollers in such a manner as to put both sheets to the partition guide member.

CONSTITUTION: Right and left sheets 15, 16 are arranged on a tray 14 through a partition guide member 24 perpendicular to the sheet feed direction X, and a plurality of positioning stop members 20W23 are disposed on the sheet feed ends of both sheets 15, 16. The respective rotary shafts 42, 40 of right and left sheet feed rollers 32, 33 brought into contact with both sheets 15, 16 to be transferred in the feed direction X intersect each other, and the sheet feed rollers 32, 33 are inclined in such a manner that the intersecting point O of the shafts is positioned on the opposite side to the feed direction X of both feed rollers 32, 33. In this arrangement, when both sheet feed rollers 32, 33 are operated, both sheets 15, 16 are put to the central portion to be brought into contact with the partition guide member 24, and then stopped by the positioning stop members 20W23 to achieve the expected object.
