Abstract:
To provide a sheet feeding device contributing to restrict deterioration of image quality, while preventing double-feeding.
This sheet feeding device is provided with a resist roll, a feed roll, a conveying path for connecting the feed roll and the resist roll to each other, while being not provided with a member for giving conveying force to the sheet and formed shorter than length of the sheet in the conveying direction, a detecting part arranged in the conveying path to detect overlap of the conveyed sheets, and a control part for making the feed roll continue to rotate till the detecting part detects overlap of the sheets and for stopping rotation when the sensor detects overlap of the sheets.
