To provide a panel feeding device capable of shortening tact time of panel receiving and delivering motion and realizing improvement of productivity, and a panel carrying method.
This panel carrier device to feed the glass panel to a working position [C] by a pressure-contact joining part 12 and to deliver the glass panel after working from the working position [C] is constituted by providing a pair of placing tables 5 to double-support the glass panel placed on an upper surface from the lower surface side on a moving part 4a provided free to respectively move along a pair of carrier rails 3a as a panel carrier mechanism 3 free to move against the moving part 4a by a table moving mechanism 4. Consequently, it is possible to move the placing tables 5 to a stand-by position without arranging the carrier rails on both sides of the stand-by position [B] to receive and deliver the panel and to shorten the motion tact time by eliminating movement in the carrying direction of a panel holding part 9 in the receiving and delivering motion of the panel.
