PURPOSE: To bring two rollers into reliable contact with each other and to prevent the occurrence of jolting between the two roller by a method wherein a movably supported roller is energized by a resilient member so as to make constant contact with an opposing roller.

CONSTITUTION: When a feed roller 62 is inserted in a picture forming device body 1, at a point of time when a feed roller 62 is collided with a delivery roller 61, at least the one of the two rollers is moved against the energizing force of a resilient member (coil spring) 67c, and the feed roller 62 is inserted further deeper. At a point of time when an insertion depth of the feed roller is regulated by a stopper 13, the roller moved against the energizing force of the resilient member 67c is returned to the original position, and the feed roller 62 and the delivery roller 61 are maintained in a regular contact state. With this state, the delivery roller 61 is positioned on the pull out side of the feed roller 62, pull off of the feed roller 62 from the picture forming device body 1 can be prevented by the delivery roller 61.
