Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a work for inserting a band-like protection sheet into an existing pipe passage while forming it into a cylindrical shape to be carried out easily.SOLUTION: A sheet insertion method of this invention is carried out in such a way that a band-like protection sheet 14 is inserted into an existing pipe passage 30 while the sheet is being formed into a cylindrical shape, a short cylindrical sheet cylinder forming jig 16 is arranged at a position spaced apart from one end 30a of the existing pipe passage 30 to outside by a prescribed distance only and the band-like protection sheet 14 is formed into a cylindrical shape by passing into the cylinder forming jig 16. Then, after a shape of the cylindrical formed protection sheet 14 is restricted between an outlet 18b of the sheet cylinder forming jig 16 and one end 30a of the existing pipe passage 30, the protection sheet 14 held into a cylindrical shape is inserted into the existing pipe passage 30.
