Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual valve in which a risk of such a wrong operation that a position at which a handle is not rotated to a fully-closed position is recognized as a fully-closed position.SOLUTION: A tapered male screw part 9 whose diameter gets smaller as it goes upward is provided on an upper face of a gland nut 7 screwed with a cylindrical male screw part 5 provided on a valve body 2. A lock nut 10 is screwed with the tapered male screw part 9. At least one slit 9a extending from an upper end to a lower end is provided on the tapered male screw part 9. While the lock nut 10 is not fastened, an inside diameter of the tapered male screw part 9 is slightly larger than an outside diameter of a valve body 3.
