Title:
SHEET POST-PROCESSING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3926612
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-size and simple mechanism attaining sure sheet width-directional alignment quality and capable of shift-moving the sheets without using a mechanism of an inclined roller.
SOLUTION: This sheet post-processing device is provided with a transfer roller part 4 laterally moving the sheets with their orthogonally crossing with the discharge direction while transferring the sheets, a bottom plate 8 for temporarily stacking the sheets, a reference member for positioning the width direction by abutting one edge of the sheet thereon, and a jogger 9 aligning the sheets by pushing one ends of the sheets on the bottom plate 8 against the reference member. The transfer roller part 4 and the jogger 9 perform a first alignment operation aligning the sheet width direction in the first position positioned in the reference member side and a second alignment operation aligning it in a second position of an approximately sheet width after the first alignment operation in order relative to a sheet receiving position for every paper sheet while transferring the sheets.
