Abstract:
To provide a sheet processing device capable of applying appropriate pressure depending on whether or not water is added in a crimp binding processing part.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device includes: a processing tray on which sheets are placed; a pair of pressurizing teeth for sandwiching and crimping the sheets placed on the processing tray; a water adding member for adding water to a pressurizing position of the sheets crimped by the pressurizing teeth; a driving motor for operating the pressurizing teeth and the water adding member; selection means for selecting whether to add water by the water adding member and perform crimping by the pressurizing teeth, or to perform crimping by the pressurizing teeth without adding water; and control means for controlling the driving motor so as to make the driving force to be applied to the pressurizing teeth different depending on whether or not water is added by the water adding member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
