Abstract:
To provide a friction material keeping a high friction coefficient even over a long-time use and having excellent abrasion resistance.
A sheet-shaped friction material includes fiber containing inorganic particles. A friction member including the sheet-shaped friction material is also provided. The fiber containing the inorganic particles is made of at least the inorganic particles and an aromatic polyamide resin.
