Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively transfer the pressure variation from the outside, and to sharply improve the transfer sensitivity of the pressure information by dispersing the needle-shaped conductive particles into a resin material under the condition that they are kept closely in contact with the surfaces of the spherical non-conductive particles.
SOLUTION: A sheet-shaped pressure sensitive resistive member 1 is prepared by mixing needle-shaped conductive particles 2, obtained by forming a tin oxide film onto the needle-shaped potassium titanate particles, and spherical non- conductive particles 3 composed of spherical potassium titanate particles, into an acrylic urethane resin material 4. On this case, the particles 2 and the particles 3 are dispersed into the resin material under the condition that the particles 2 are closely kept in contact with the surfaces of the particles 3 in such manner that the conductive direction is transverse to the sheet face part. Thereby the particles 2 can be uniformly positioned in the resin material in such manner that the conductive direction thereof is transverse to the sheet face part. Accordingly the stable resistance value can be obtained without the dispersion of the resistance value on the sheet surface, and the transfer sensitivity of the pressure information can be sharply improved.
