PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively and stably supply a sheet for a transmission type screen whose groove shape is regular and different in the width direction non-stepwise.
SOLUTION: The sheet for the transmission type screen constituted by imparting the shape of many lenses in a ridge state to its surface and having 0.1 to 2.0mm thickness has characteristics that (i) it is formed of thermoplastic resin whose inclination (W) derived from the relation of melt viscosity (Y) and load (X) satisfies a following expression (1) in a range where the melt viscosity is 102 to 103 Pascals and (ii) the height of a lens is changed substantially non-stepwise from the center part or the vicinity of the center part to the periphery part in a direction perpendicular to the ridge. The expression (1) is 2×10-2≤W≤6×10-2. In the expression, W is expressed by a following expression. W=-(logY/X), provided that X means the load (MPa) and Y means the melt viscosity (Pascals) of the resin.
