Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the production cost of a sheet transport division device, reduce the installation space, and prevent the reduction of the gain of a sheet and operation efficiency of the equipment by shifting an attracting transport means, following the extension of an upstream transport means, by a separation signal and by increasing the transport speed of a downstream transport means larger than that of the upstream transport means.
CONSTITUTION: When the quantity of transport sheets reaches an aimed quantity, a separation signal is outputted, and the transport passage of an upstream transport means 54 is extended, and an attracting transport means 56 is attraction-operated, and attracts the sheet on the transport passage of the means 54. Further, the means 56 is shifted, following the extension of the means 54, and the transport speed of a downstream means 52 is increased larger than that of the means 54. Accordingly, the sheet attracted by the means 56 and the sheet on the transport passage of the means 52 are separated. Then, the transport passage extended by the means 54 is contracted and returned to the length before extension by a restoration signal, and the attraction operation of the means 56 is suspended, and at the same time, the transport speed of the means 52 is returned to the equal speed to that of the means 54, and a sheet transport division device 50 is returned to the original state.
