Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce double feeding of originals.SOLUTION: An original automatic transportation device, if originals are fed in double feeding state into a nip NP between a separation roller 6 and a transportation roller 5 which press contacting each other by a pressurizing spring 64, makes a depressurizing spring 185 tract the separation roller 6, against the pressurizing spring 64, along the direction separating from the transportation roller 5. A nip pressure is reduced, and the double feeding originals are separated by transportation resistance of the separation roller 6.
