CONSTITUTION: When a prescribed number of sheets 20 or more are lifted up at one time through close adhesion by an attracting panel 21, firmness of a sheet bundle is strengthened, and the shift of the attracting panel 21 is disabled or the shifting time prolongs in comparison with the ordinary case. Accordingly, a judging means judges if the quantity of the sheets 20 which are lifted up through close adhesion is less than a prescribed quantity or not, besides through the binary detection if the attracting panel 12 shifts after the operation of an attracting panel shifting means 22 or the application of the time elements up to the shift. In this case, the prescribed number means the quantity with which the assortment effect can be substantially expected in the sheet assortment process in the next process.
