Abstract:
PURPOSE: To quickly and highly accurately measure a relative position both shield machines.
CONSTITUTION: A boring pipe 10 is extended from one shield machine toward the other shield machine, and a magnetism sensor provided on the tip part of the pipe detects the distance from a cutter disc and a slit. Then, the tip part of the boring pipe is brought close to a bulkhead 20 through the slit, and a radioisotope sensor 14 on the tip part is detected from the inside of the bulkhead 20 by a radioisotope sensor 24.
