Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift lever capable of reducing the diameter of a rod and having a pin capable of withstanding a load for the engagement of the pin with a stopper even if a rod diameter is reduced.
SOLUTION: This shift lever device comprises the vertically moved rod 40, the pin 41 extending in the direction at right angle to the extending direction of the rod 40 and having a side face pressed against the lower end of the rod 40, and a spring 42 pressing the pin 41 against the lower end of the rod 40 from the opposite side of the rod 40. The shift lever device is of a gate type.
