Abstract:
To realize a sure shift locking state under a particular condition by a simple structure while securing greater safety.
The supported part of a shift lock arm member 34 is supported in the supporting part 52 of a holder member 36 fixed in a structural member side and a shift lever 12 in a P range shift lock releasing position is caught by the catching part 42 of the shift lock arm member 34. The shift lever 12 is the P range shift locking position or caused to be returned while the shift lock arm member 34 is swung in this condition. The shift lock arm member 34 is linked with a shift locking device for its engaging part and in its P range shift locking position, a parking shift locking operation or a releasing operation is performed.
