Abstract:
PURPOSE:To secure a stable thrust in the hull cross direction by setting up a propeller fitted with a blade spirally in a guide cylinder, in both side parts beneath the hull draft, and having water subjected to suction and discharge in succession. CONSTITUTION:A propeller 3 fitted with a blade 3B spirally in a guide cylinder 3A is set up beneath a draft line at both sides. With this blade 3B rotated, water is drawn in from the front of the guide cylinder 3A, and it is continuously discharged out of the rear, thereby securing a thrust. The propeller 3 is attached to both sides of the hull whereby a stable thrust in the hull cross direction is securable.
