Title:
BOAT LAUNCHING INSTALLATION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01262284
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To dispense with any lifting work for a boat as well as to aim at effective utilization for a quay and a water surface in front of a factory by installing a bent on its foundation buried in the bottom of the water, and also installing a bridge, provided with a truck and its rails, in this bent. CONSTITUTION:A bent foundation 1 is buried in the bottom of the water excepting its top part, and front and rear bents 4, 4a are detachably erected on this top part. Rails 8, 10 are laid down on both bents 4, 4a, and a truck 11 is installed on these rails 8, 10. A camber is attached to an interval between both ends of the rail 10, and a load supporting block 12 is pivotally attached to a top face of the truck 11 via a symmetrical pair of horizontal pins 13. Consequently, since this installation is of framed setting type, such a possibility that it will hamper effective utilization for a quay and a water surface in front of a factory is negligible, and since any lifting work for launching an express boat is no longer required, work is safe and, what is more, no floating crane is required so that charter expenses are curtailed.
