PURPOSE: To lower the cost of a triangular prism shock absorber inserted between a lighting apparatus main body and reflector by forming the absorber with a sheet of folded corrugated cardboard and joining the tip of the shock absorber to an internal slit bottom in the reflector.

CONSTITUTION: To package an inverted-Mt.Fuji-shaped lighting apparatus comprising a lighting apparatus main body 1 provided with screw fittings to fix a reflector and reflector 5 using outer packaging material 17, etc., a corrugated cardboard shock absorber 31 is prepared to be put between the lighting apparatus 1 and reflector 5. The shock absorber 31 has shock absorbing parts 32 slightly wider than the reflector 5. The ends of an No.1 link 34 connected to the center of the shock absorbing parts 32 are bent to form a shock absorbing triangular prism 41 together with a No.1 linking part 34. The shock absorber 31 also has a pair of No.2 links 33, 35, the ends of which are joined to an internal slit bottom 5C in the reflector 5. The shock absorbing parts 32 have at their center holes 36 to be mated with the screw fittings on the lighting apparatus 1.
