To provide a shock-absorbing elastic sheet material for forming a shock-absorbing sheet member to be used at a portion adjacent to the tip end and/or the heal portion of a shoe insole.
A shock-absorbing sheet member 20 having a shock absorbing function is formed of an elastic material such as silicone rubber or the like, and provided with vents at the bottoms among semi-spherical projections having semi-spherical cross sections on its surface. The shock-absorbing sheet member 20 is cut out from the shock-absorbing elastic sheet member that is a sheet-like product in an arbitrary form, and one or a plurality of sheets of them is fitted in or directly bonded to the insole 30 of a shoe. The shock-absorbing sheet member 20 can achieve a shock-absorbing function without spoiling fashionability by selecting the number of sheets used.
