To provide a table leg whose height adjustment from the longest to the shortest, that is, from the upper limit to the lower limit specified by JIS, is achieved by one kind in facilities for children such as a kindergarten, to use a table for all age groups and to use it as a low table by adjusting the height at or near the lower limit for older children and adults.
The table leg comprises: an upper leg 2 extended downwards from the back surface of a top plate 1; a lower leg 3 extended upwards from the ground side; and an intermediate leg 5 on which a plurality of height adjusting holes 4 are provided stepwise. Through-holes 20 and 30 corresponding to the desired height adjusting holes 4 are bored near the lower end of the upper leg 2 and near the upper end of the lower leg 3. Further, when the entire leg is shortened most, the intermediate leg 5 is sandwiched by the upper leg 2 and the lower leg 3, and the interval of the ground side and the top plate side is made to have a length equal to the projection distance L1 of the upper and lower legs 2 and 3.
